As we don't have accents on these US keyboards, we will write in English, sorry French folks :)
BRRRRR, cold Quebec, we are freezing away :) so we went to the....musee des civilisations (deja-vu?!) which was worth it. Before, we managed to brave the cold long enough to watch a great performance by the royal Canadian airforce. To imitate Patrick's adventure of 10 years ago, we all went to "pi" at the Chateau de Frontenac...At night, after an amazing but quick dinner in Wendake, we went to see the "Second REndez-vous", a performance of legends and myths by the first nation of the Wendake huron tribe...under the rain! But it was magical!
Some shopping at the Christmas Store (Patrcik is rolling his eyes) and a military parade later, we continued our road downriver to the Montmorency Falls, and the Canyon of Sainte Anne. The finally, we arrived in Montreal! What a beautiful city! But a bit confusing...it looks american, but it's not at all.
We met up with Pady (thank you again for having come all the way from Sherbrooke!) and visited the Parc Olympique as well as the Jardin Botanique. Afterwards we enjoyed our private harbour tour by a communist, funny, sarcastic, all-winter-in-cuba-living captain. As Christine fell ill with a headache, all the family including Pady (of course) went for some pizza...mmmmhh! What a great way to spend the last night in Canada, right, Christine ? :)
Then came the time for the "last" goodbyes...
