...Arizona. Again, breathtaking landscapes, unpaved roads, unfortunately some I-40, looooooooong trains and more jellyfish thunderstorms...
We supported the US government by visiting 2 National Parks: the Petrified Forest
and the Meteor Crater (very original name!) Google them! :)
We felt like at home...RAIN!! :)
Anecdote of the day: Arizona is a Mountain Time state. So it should be 8 hours behind Luxembourg. But, surprise, they do not do daylight saving, thus they are 9 hours behind. As we wanted to enter Meteor Crater, we saw that the park would close at 5 and on our watches it was 5:40. We were about to turn around when the park ranger told us that they would let people in until 5...we were a bit startled...and checked we were running one hour ahead of everyone else in the state...oh well. :) One hour gained, trois de retrouvees (says Christine)... (???)
We arrived in Flagstaff where we'll spend 3 nights. Hopefully the weather will allow us to go and visit the Grand Canyon tomorrow.
P.S. Photos for all of this will follow tomorrow.
P.P.S. Thanks Jimmy and Flepp (sorry, no accents :)) for your membership
